Short Takeoff - Star Air 767 OY-SRG quick lift-off at Dublin Airport

Описание к видео Short Takeoff - Star Air 767 OY-SRG quick lift-off at Dublin Airport

Whilst over at Dublin Airport filming for the afternoon on the 2cnd of November I was very pleased to catch this Star Air 767.
Operating on behalf of Alitalia from Rome, it then departed empty back to Bologna. This was the shortest takeoff run I'd seen a plane of this size take using runway 28 at Dublin.
Some history regards this example. Originally delivered to Air New Zealand in August 1986 as ZK-NBC, it went on to fly with them for 18 years. Having been converted to an ER model and then into a freighter , it was then delivered to Danish Carrier Star Air in March 2005. Quite a lengthy history for this bird.
The sound of the 2 General Electric engines spooling up is very impressive.
