People with chronic diseases are hit hard because they face a reduced quality of life and experience financial and social struggles. Chronic diseases also place a huge burden on our social and health systems, with 70 to 80% of healthcare budgets spent on their treatment. The Joint Action CHRODIS provides answers on how to reduce these burdens.
