The Grow Pros HM 660 uses Phillips diodes comprised of 3000k, 5000k and 660nm spectrum. It uses 3x 240watt Moso drivers, which is a fairly competitive brand. The cool thing about this light is that it has a modular design, meaning you can buy and add more bars to increase coverage. The light on its own will easily cover a 4'x4' area and up to a 5'x5'.

As always we test the PAR of the grow light, the heat output, the wattage draw from the wall and the overall efficacy. We tested this bar style LED in both reflective and non-reflective open air environments and have included detailed PAR maps. The heat output was tested in a non-ventilated area after 4 hours of use. Once the PAR and wattage draw was tested we were able to determine the overall efficiency of the light.

This light has a dimmer and in addition to being used at max power, it features a boost feature. I would recommend not using the boost feature without proper ventilation or adding the additional bars as it does increase the overall heat output as well as the wattage draw from the wall.
