I was in Manchester for the weekend and I had the chance to buy £1 tickets from the Northern seat sale. I needed somewhere to go and the beautiful run across the Pennines on the Hope Valley line seemed like the perfect way to spend the afternoon, especially as the Sheffield Tap bar on Platform 1 has some of the nicest beers you could drink anywhere.

When editing the video, I realised this is the third trip report where I've drank at one of the Thornbridge pubs, as prior to this you can find me at the Euston Tap and the York Tap.
