The song is composed by Swami Saradananda Ji.
The song is based upon an experience shared by Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, of a time when he was in deep meditation. During His meditation, he saw that he was attaining higher grounds by walking through a luminous path, and finally crossed the boundaries of Dualism and reached in the Non-dualistic ground. He saw Six meditating Rishis in that state, and He Himself appeared there as a divine child. The child hugged one of the Rishis, and invoked him to wend towards the earth to save it from the vices.
