Hi there!
As Christmas approaches, I’m excited to share some creative ideas for decorating your Christmas tree. In this video, you’ll learn how to make beautiful decorative ornaments out of paper mache (papier-mâché) by hand!
Papier-mâché is an easily moldable mixture made from paper, cardboard, and newspapers combined with glue. Despite its French name, this ancient method, which originated in China, remains relevant today.
Take care of Mother Nature.
We can give a second life to paper products and even use old fabrics that pollute our planet.
Noir, translated from French, means “black.” Christmas is the time of the winter solstice, when the longest night of the year occurs. During this period, darkness reaches its peak, and everything falls into a deep sleep to rest and renew. It is a time of reset. We wish for the universe to awaken from the haze of recent years and set a course for peaceful and happy coexistence.
To create Christmas decorative ornaments, you will need:
Egg cartons, newspapers and magazines;
Water;
Glue (starch paste, PVA, school glue, clear glue);
A ball consisting of two halves;
Fabric (stretchy fabric works best);
Fabric glue;
Acrylic and glitter paints (optional);
Silver white pigment powder;
Silver wire;
Ribbons, beads, braid, lace, sequins, pins for decoration.
I wish you creative success!
