Italy's anti-trust watchdog AGCOM has fined Europe's two biggest budget airlines for misleading their customers.

Ryanair and Easyjet have been fined more than a million euros for gouging their customers over travel insurance.

The regulator said the companies' websites did not provide consumers with enough information to make informed choices.

Their websites did not clearly explain what risks were covered, excess charges were disproportionately high and the fee attached to requesting a refund...
