If you’ve disconnected your battery and closed the trunk this is the vid for you. I forgot to mention all work was done in the passenger footwell. 07 335i

Steps
-remove panel
-remove the connector
-find the grey wire with green stripe
-use a razor to expose the copper on the wire (small area) DONT CUT IT
-hook up jumpers to an old battery
-place the ground lead on the door jamb
-apply 12v to the wire with the positive lead
