Описание к видео ADHD Outside the Classroom | Ella Horowitz | TEDxTheMastersSchool

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) impacts diagnosed students both inside and outside the classroom. Although ADHD is often talked about in the context of academic settings, it has a significant effect on everyday, social activities, too. In this TEDx Talk, Ella Horowitz will share her experience with ADHD to bring awareness to those not informed about the vast implications of its symptoms. Ella Horowitz is an active member of The Masters School’s Model UN, and is constantly exploring new topics of interest, including, most recently, golf and piano. Having most of her middle school experience dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic, she is overjoyed to be able to be back in person at a school with all her friends. She was diagnosed with ADHD halfway through elementary school and in the course of overcoming struggles with it has learned many things about herself and ADHD as a form of neurodivergence. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
