Today is Ronnie Van Zant's birthday and you know what that gets you? That's right, a Lynyrd Skynyrd bass cover. The song is off their "Street Survivors" album that came out a very long time ago in 1977.

I really think this bass line is pure genius and really did not expect it to be as complex as it turned out to be. It was played by Leon Wilkeson.
