A quick after work fishing trip with friends turns out with a bunch of walleye in the net. Trolling Lake Erie walleye, we used a bunch of different Challenger stickbaits to target suspended fish, trolling around 2 mph to get the bites. As we move into late summertime, trolling a little faster with stickbaits is a great way to find walleye that are on the move. We also used lead core line which we haven’t used all season so switching up techniques was a lot of fun.
