This workout will help you strengthen and protect your spine if you have herniated discs or osteoporosis.

Remember to always work in a range of motion that is pain-free for you and your strength and flexibility will improve. Rocking swan is an advanced Pilates exercise so it's better to use a small range of motion for this exercise and can also modify by not lifting legs. So you just lift breastbone away from mat keeping front ribs on mat and spine supported.
