This is a cover of It's Going Down Now by Atsushi Kitajoh, Lotus Juice and Azumi Takahashi from Persona 3 Reload. I have recreated the track as if it was originally composed by Shoji Meguro and released on the PS2 around the time of the original Persona 3's release.

Persona 3 Reload has been out for almost a week now, and I happen to really enjoy this song, so why not be trendy and cover it while it's hot? Just like my previous Shoji Meguro covers, I've tracked down his guitar tone that he used from Nocturne to Catherine and recreated it to use in these covers to make it sound authentic. The multi effects processor that he used was the Line 6 POD 2.0 and with some fiddling and EQ, you can achieve his tone from that era.

The vocals have been isolated from the original track using AI which I've never done before, so there are a few artefacts but overall it came out better than I expected. I've also uploaded an instrumental version juuuuust in case Atlus doesn't like them though.

The trouble with this track is that it was already composed in Shoji Meguro's style to begin with, using plenty of trumpets, piano, clean and distorted guitar, the "baby" sample etc. So just doing a straight cover would be kind of redundant, but I didn't want to change things too drastically. So I changed a few elements and added a guitar solo and changed the bridge to sound a little more like Battle for Everyone's Souls.

I'm not as confident about this cover but I hope you still enjoy it anyway!
