Breaking News: The Rouse Avenue court in Delhi granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday in relation to the Enforcement Directorate's charge against the AAP supremo over the Delhi Excise policy issue.
In connection with the Delhi excise policy case, the ED has sent Kejriwal with eight summonses thus far, but the 55-year-old has ignored them all. In two complaints, the ED asked the magistrate court to prosecute Kejriwal for allegedly ignoring many summonses related to the probe. The most recent complaint concerns the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) not responding to summonses no. 4 through 8 issued by the federal investigative agency by Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
