Toyota 4runner wiring CH4x4 switch for Radio Ground

In this video I show how to wire a CH4x4 switch to act as a Ground interupter while still having the LED backlight. I wanted a factory looking switch to Ground, ungrounded, back to Ground my Alpine radio so I have access to the settings. This is for off-road purpose only

If using a CH4x4 switch, this is how you would wire it up. Same principals when using another other switch. Source = Ground, To Relay or Accessory = radio

Grab wire #1 and #4 and connect them to your Ground. Connect #2 to your Relay/Accessory = Radio. #3 is your light signal, so locate a wire that is powered on when you turn your lights on. I used the far left Green wire for DAC. 2x check and make sure you have 12v on that terminal when the lights are on before listening to me. Ha.
