A new addition to the TSL range, the Highlander models will impress you with their high-tech design, their durability and their high levels of grip on all types of snow (crusted, wet, icy). The high-tech bindings on these frames make them ideal for those of you looking to venture off the beaten track in pursuit of steep inclines.
Highlander snowshoes are available in 3 sizes,
Small, for people weighing between 30 and 80kg, that’s 65 to 180lbs
Medium, for people weighing between 50 and 120kg, that’s 110 to 260lbs
And Large, for people weighing between 70 and 140kg, that’s 150 to 300 lbs
All finally, TSL snowshoes are delivered with their own storage bag.
The Highlander frame is designed with a rear tip rocker. The purpose of the rocker is to cushion your step, helping to guide the foot through the walking process, whether on flat surfaces or inclines.
The interchangeable grips located around the edges of the frame provide excellent grip on all types of snow. The 3D design and hourglass shape help prevent you from slipping while going up, while providing enhanced grip for downhill sections.
The sharp, multi-tooth, stainless steel front grip is designed maximal traction on steep inclines.
The structured frame and the crossbars help guarantee control and traction on soft and compact snow.
The composite teeth beneath the rear rocker of the snowshoe cut and expel snow, ensuring enhanced grip for downhill sections.
Whether on flat or inclined surfaces, initial contact with the snow is made using these 2 two-way, stainless steel crampons or tips positioned beneath the base of the foot.
The Boa® Fit System tightens the laces in a precise, uniform way, allowing you to adjust the binding to your foot quickly whilst reducing pressure points around the front of the foot.
Lateral adjust, a TSL patent, adds an extra level of adjustment and memorises your settings.
The padded ankle strap can be pre adjusted to memorise your settings, then tightened using the ratchet strap.
The Lock Adjustment system can be quickly adjusted and will memorise your shoe size.
Easy Ascent Heel lift system can be activated by simply pushing with a pole. It features the TSL Sound and Shock Absorbing System.
TSL Snowshoes are made in the French Alps and are all delivered with their own storage bag.
