After Joshimath, Rishikesh, Nainital residents fear as cracks appear in buildings, roads

The crisis in Joshimath is now repeating in several other hill towns across the Himalayan region. That sinking feeling is no longer restricted to Joshimath and is fast spreading to hill stations. Residents of Karnaprayag, Uttarkashi, Guptkashi, Rishikesh, Nainital and Mussoorie are among those who are worried as their homes and roads see cracks.
