Stanley: The Most Wasted Thomas and Friends Character

Stanley is one of the most confusing characters in Thomas and Friends. He started out strong in 2008, having a major role in the Great Discovery, several episodes, and tons of merchandise. Then, he reached internet fame thanks to a video about him going to space. However, once Mattel purchased the brand in 2012, Stanley quickly fell into obscurity. But why was that? What accounted for his sudden disappearance into the background? In this video, I aim to answer those questions.
