📝NOTE:

Visa Requirements: Check if you need a visa before traveling. Many nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or an e-visa for Armenia.

Currency: The official currency is the Armenian Dram (AMD). It's advisable to carry some cash for smaller transactions as credit cards are not accepted everywhere.

Language: Armenian is the official language, but English and Russian are also widely spoken, especially in tourist areas.

Weather: Armenia experiences four distinct seasons. Summers (June to August) are warm, while winters (December to February) can be cold with snowfall, especially in higher elevations.

Local Customs: Respect local customs and traditions, especially in religious sites and when interacting with locals. Dress modestly when visiting churches and monasteries.

Safety: Armenia is generally a safe country for travelers. Exercise normal precautions and be aware of your surroundings, especially in crowded places.

Transportation: Public transportation in cities like Yerevan includes buses and taxis. Renting a car is a good option for exploring rural areas, but roads can be narrow and mountainous.

Food: Armenian cuisine is rich and diverse. Don't miss trying traditional dishes like dolma, khorovats (barbecue), and lavash (flatbread). Tap water is safe to drink in most places.

Etiquette: It's customary to greet with a handshake and maintain eye contact. Tipping is appreciated in restaurants (around 10%), but not mandatory.

Remember to check for any travel advisories or updates before your trip. Enjoy your journey through Armenia!
