A successful scratch-built model requires a solid foundation. This part 2 goes into finishing the water-line hull over the plywood foundation. I demonstrate plastic sheeting with tips on oil-canning and distressing steel effects on scale model ships. It also covers the closing up of the base model over the plywood plate.
