What Is Hytale?
Set out on an adventure built for both creation and play. Hytale blends the freedom of a sandbox with the momentum of an RPG: explore a procedurally generated world full of dungeons, secrets, and a variety of creatures, then shape it block by block. Our Early Access release focuses on polished core systems - exploration, responsive combat, and robust building - alongside creator‑first tools for making your own content, crafting minigames, and running community servers. Jump in, make your mark, and help us grow this world together!

A WORLD TO EXPLORE
As you traverse each generated landscape, the world will open up around you. Towering ruins, forgotten caverns, and strange landmarks await off the beaten path, with small glimmers of history hinted at in the places, creatures, and items you discover. Along the way you might stumble upon random events, hidden dens, or sudden challenges that turn a simple trip into a memorable story. With a constant mix of surprises and points of interest to uncover, every journey will feel different.

Choose your path
Hytale will support many different playstyles in its final form. Whether you want to be a settler, adventurer, or craftsperson, you'll have plenty to do as you advance through the game.

With so much to see in our exploration mode, so many memories to unlock and other worlds to visit, why not invite a friend or two to share the experience and leave a mark on the world together.

Encounter dire foes
The world of Hytale is host to creatures large and small, from scampering critters to powerful monsters. Each zone features its own unique wildlife, with dangerous creatures standing guard over the most powerful gear in the game.

Master the wilderness
Put down roots in any of Hytale's beautiful biomes. Grow your own crops, make your own food, or build a series of minecart tracks to bridge bigger distances and help you explore. You'll have plenty of opportunities to be creative whether you choose to build a cottage or a castle.

Discover unique worlds
Experience moments of magic as our world generation technology creates spectacle on the fly: rushing rivers carve tunnels through mountains, waterfalls tumble into ancient caverns, and bubbling hot springs promise respite from the perils of the wild.
