In the wild new world monkeys known as black cap Capuchins often bath with onions and other materials as an instinctive behavior. Often in the wild, black-cap capuchin monkeys use limes or other citrus fruits, bugs/insects, and certain plants like eucalyptus for bathing.. This behavior has several reasons. On the one hand, bathing with these elements is antiparasitic, and repels ticks and mosquitoes. On the other, it strengthens social relationships, as capuchins gather and share onions as much as possible.. I knew this stuff before my friend came over and was smoking today BUT after Gunner got SOOOOOOOOOO worked up trying to get the smoke on to him that he was drooling and incomprehensive to anything else going on around him I had to check further into it!! He did this with one of those air fresheners you plug into the wall one time but at least it smells good and don't burn your eyes.. Anyway THIS is what I learned about human primates and obsessions with smoke.. Obviously it's no different for this primate monkey than it is some humans.. WHO KNEW?? SMOKING FETISHISM (also known as CAPNOLAGNIA) is told to be a sexual fetish caused by the smoking of tobacco.. As a fetish, its sexually arousing watching a person smoking, sometimes including oneself. SOOOO my next question is did Gunner Boeh think the one smoking was sexy OR was he thinking HE is the sexy one for bathing in smoke?? Either way it was entertaining and very odd to watch.. He owns me.. Life is too short to fit in!!
