Two nights on a houseboat

Two dads and fours kids spend two nights on a houseboat. Our trip started on the Corroboree billabong. The first night and day we cruised on the Mary river and just enjoyed the scenery as it drifted by.

The next night we slept on the billabong itself. About 2AM we were woken up by two huge crocodiles having a fight close to the boat. It very exciting to witness.

There were plenty of animals, and due to the COVID-19 lockdown, almost no-one else in sight. Peaceful, is how we can describe the evenings. In fact, the water was so calm, some of the drone footage looks like it is just a still image I manipulated to look like motion. But look carefully, you will how things drift by.
