After getting a P0AA6 code on my 2005 Gen 2 Prius, I was able to narrow it down to the high voltage battery. Then using the megaohmmeter, find the bad cell. This leak was not visible from the top with the lid of the case off. Once I found that there was a loss of resistance and which side, I removed the cells.
