Tropical Storm Auring / Dujuan Friday Forecast ( Bagyo Update)

Tropical Storm Dujuan locally known as Auring continues to strengthen a bit east of Mindanao Friday morning. The storms convection is rather impressive in fact and it will likely peak as a severe tropical storm before moving on shore bringing heavy rainfall mostly across Eastern Mindanao. There flooding and landslides are likely so those being warned on via PAGASA ensure you are taking the proper precautions.

The extended forecast also remains questionable in my opinion. GFS and ECMWF are split on what they want to do with outlook by the end of the weekend with the GFS showing the cold surge absolutly destroying Auring while ECMWF keeps it intact. I think we are going to have a middle ground with the storm weakening over the Philippines but still being a bit rain maker.
