FooEvents, like many WooCommerce extensions, currently only works with the classic WooCommerce Checkout and Cart experience. As a result, the attendee section, which is displayed on the Checkout page, will not appear when using the new default WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks.

To switch back to the classic experience, simply look for the ‘Switch to classic checkout’ button below the compatibility notice on your checkout or cart pages. Clicking this button will automatically replace the new WooCommerce blocks with the classic shortcode-based Cart or Checkout, instantly restoring FooEvents functionality. This method is fast and efficient, allowing you to continue using FooEvents without any interruption. Stay tuned for future updates as we work on supporting the new WooCommerce blocks.

Alternatively, you can manually set these pages to use the classic WooCommerce cart and checkout shortcodes. Start by navigating to the Pages menu in your WordPress dashboard, and locate the Cart or Checkout page you want to edit. Open the page in the WordPress editor and enable the List View to easily find the Cart or Checkout block. Once located, select and delete the block.

Next, add a new Shortcode block in its place. Depending on the page, type either [woocommerce_cart] or [woocommerce_checkout] into the Shortcode block to restore the classic, shortcode-based functionality. Finally, save your changes, and your cart or checkout page will now be fully compatible with FooEvents, displaying all the necessary attendee information and selectors.
