If you’re subscribed to our enterprise plan, you can now create custom visitor flows for the different types of people you welcome to your workplace.

A visitor flow refers to the experience each visitor has when they are signing in. This includes the information they need to provide like company name, contact details or any health screening questions such as recent cold or flu symptoms.

A visitor flow refers to the experience each visitor has when they are signing in. This includes the information they need to provide like company name, contact details, any health screening questions, as well as any additional documentation you may require to be signed like a digital NDA.

Having custom visitor flows allows you to simplify and streamline your sign ins even further. For example, if you welcome a variety of people like staff, contractors, cleaners and visitors you probably don’t need staff and regular contractors to supply the same information as what you would need from a new visitor.

To set these different flows up, head to the SwipedOn web dashboard and navigate to settings and then visitor fields.

When you have two or more visitor categories created, you can then create custom flows for each category.

For example, you might want new visitors to provide their name, company name, email and phone number but you don't need this information from contractors or cleaners.

In the web dashboard, you can simply set the ‘visitor’ category to show these fields and hide them in the categories that they aren’t relevant for.

Making use of the visitor flows feature means you’re only gathering the information you need and also reducing any potential pain points for your different visitors.
