A quick dash down to Hereford station this morning to capture a rare move in the form of 97303 taking over the Chirk to Baglan logs. Approximately 04:00, 56078 working southbound was rescued in the Hereford area by 66792 into the station. This then allowed 97303 to take over for the remainder of the journey to Baglan.

A slight struggle on departure but soon got moving. This was the first instance of a Class 37 on the log trains south of Shrewsbury.

It will be interesting to see whether it brings them back up loaded!

I've done away with my intro for the time being.. copyright strikes are killing views...albeit copyright free sounds... a new one in the process of being produced.
