I talk about how pot size can make a difference in growth in the hot summers of the desert. More media allows for stable temps and less watering. I show how size does matter with cuttings. I talk about the soil mix I make and I have been fertilizing once a month. I should know what method worked best here in zone 8b in the hot desert. Getting them started is the hardest point for me, keeping them alive after starting is easy. I talk about the pros and cons of doing this method and if you watch my experimentation videos you will see these in the later video series.

Purchased these cuttings from Profig, The Fig Hunters, and Figaholics. The cuttings were great, good caliper and received them with no damage.
