Fort Richardson State Park | RV Camping, High Water And The Old Fort

RV camping at Fort Richardson State Park is a wonderful experience! In Oct of 2018 I had the pleasure of visiting Fort Richardson State Park and historical site in Jacksboro Texas. This great Texas State Park is built on the historical site of Fort Richardson, For Richardson was built to protect early settlers from the native American tribes in the area.
Connected to and part of Fort Richardson State Park is a developed hike and bike trail that is perfect for taking my high speed mobility scooter on a high speed run.
Thanks for several weeks of rain the creeks were running so high I was not able to scooter the whole park.
