From the Iron Lion Sounds vault, we proudly present a humble and profound tribute to one of the most prophetic voices in the history of Reggae: the late, great Joseph Hill of Culture. This is "The Ghetto Historian: A Tribute to Joseph Hill".

This album is not just a collection of songs; it is a sonic sermon. It is an homage to a man who was more than a singer—he was a teacher, a storyteller, and a historian for the voiceless. Joseph Hill's genius was in his ability to weave tales from the Old Testament into powerful parables about the modern-day struggle of the Rasta people against Babylon. He was the voice of righteous judgment, the lament of the sufferer, and the unwavering hope for Zion's gate to open.

Musically, this tribute is a deep dive into the raw, hypnotic 70s Roots Reggae sound that Culture perfected.
