This is Fender American Vintage '64 Telecaster. After close inspection and micro measuring of original 60's production Teles, Fender offers a completely vintage spec guitar which includes new pickups and the most accurate details from Fender's history. The aged white blonde finish shows the presence of an ash body that is sprayed with Fender's flash coat nitro lacquer.
The mid 60's "C" maple neck has a rounder feel compared to the 50's profile and the round laminated rosewood board with a 7 ¼ radius and 21 vintage frets shows Fender's attention to detail.
Producing those vintage Telecaster tones are a new set of American Vintage Grey-Bottom pickups, complete with staggered pole pieces. Plus the American Vintage Series shows the great lengths Fender took to replicate the original hardware of the era which includes a 3 ply pickguard, knurled flat top knobs, vintage style tuners and a threaded steel barrel 3 saddle bridge.
