Welcome to episode one of What is the Mental Health Spectrum - research and outline, a summary of the cognitive, social and emotional reasons for psychological health issues and touching on the spiritual techniques to help, and my personal battle with psychological illnesses.

In this episode, I will investigate the ways in which our mental health is affected by the interactions between our cognitive, social and emotional aspects. Exploring the various mental health disorders and their associated symptoms, and discussing the possible causes of these disorders.

We will begin by discussing the cognitive component of mental health. We will look at how our cognitive abilities and processes can influence our mental health by looking at how our beliefs and thought patterns can affect our emotions and behaviour.

Next, I will talk about the social side of mental health. I will be looking at the ways in which our interactions with other people, both online and in person, can affect our mental health. We will also be exploring how our social environment can play a role in our mental health and how our experiences in our community can shape our mental health.

Finally, I will be chat about the emotional aspect of mental health. We will discuss how our feelings and emotions can influence our mental health and how we can use various techniques to manage and regulate our emotions in order to maintain good mental health.
I will briefly discuss the various mental health disorders that are related to emotional dysregulation, such as anxiety and depression.

It is important to remember that mental health exists on a spectrum, and each individual can experience different levels of well-being at different points in their lives. Understanding the complex interplay between cognitive, social, and emotional factors is key to maintaining good mental health, and this will be our focus throughout this series.
