Katana vs. Speaker: LE10-508 10" - Can it handle 100W???

I tried to blow up this speaker with the Katana Artist MkII head. Did I succeed? The speaker in question is simply labelled, "LE10-508" and came out of a Marshall JTM-30 2x10 combo amp. It's an 8 ohm speaker, but no other details are given.
