Hydro-X - Overview

Описание к видео Hydro-X - Overview

This video will demonstrate how to install the Trolmaster Hydro-X / HCS-1.1)It is always a good idea to verify the most recent firmware is installed in your Hydro-x prior to starting to use the controller. The most recent versions of the firmware can be found at www.Trolmaster.com.

)To install the Hydro-x, first determine where you want to mount the Hydro-x controller. Ensure the controller will not be exposed to water, rain or other sources of water or spray.

)Remove the backplate from the controller by pulling out on the four red tabs.

)Securethe mounting plate to a wall, and then install the controller by pressing the 4 red tabs into the locked position.

)Next connect the small plug-in power supply to the power port on the bottom left of the controller. Plug in the power supply to a constant source of power. No problem if power is interruptedto the Hydro-x controller...non-volatile memory and a 10-year lithium battery will ensure no loss of data or time.

)Now you canenter the correct time and date on the Hydro-x controller in military aka 24 hour mode.

)Now we can connect the 3-in-1 Temp, Humidity and light sensor to the porton the bottom labeled Sensors. All of the other optional sensors will beconnected to the Sensor port using the provided Y-splitters andcables, or if necessary... longer cables can be made on-site by the installer.

)Once all of the sensors are connected to the controller, you can begin to install the Device control modules.(show the HCS-1 home screen with all sensors connected)

)All of the device modules will be connected to the port on the bottom of the controller labeled Devices. The device modules can be connected to the controller using either the Y-splitters, or by using our SPH-1 powered 8-way splitter huband RJ12 cables.

)Once all of the device modules are connected to the controller, you can begin to address each of the device modules. Each device module has a small button that is pressed during the initial setup in order to link each device module to the controller.Once the device module is addressed to the controller, it will remain addressed even if power to the device module is disconnected.

)When the addressing button is pressed on a device module, the controller will recognize the new module and briefly display a confirmation message on the controller LCD screen. (show message on screen) The device module status will also change once the addressing is complete. (show the display on the TS-2 and how the LED slows down on the DS modules.) Each module will be assigned the next devicenumber in sequence until all of the available device slots are taken.

)You might choose to enter the settings for each module as they are being addressed. (demonstrate accessing a humidity module’s settings) Simply find the device module that was recently addressed, change the settings to the desired settings, and press Enter to accept the changes.

)There are two separate light control channels on the controller. To connect and control lighting systems that are compatible with the controller, connect the correct LMA lighting adapter into the port labeled Line 1 or Line 2 on the
