Most people have a general awareness of the need for self-care. But how many people really understand the concept? It starts with understanding yourself and one of the most common afflictions we deal with every day in our lives--anxiety. Everyone has it; most of us write it off without thinking of the harm it can do to us. Did you know that autoimmune disorders (rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, to name a few) are typically caused or worsened by persistent anxiety? The reality is that most people have some level of anxiety in their lives, and they often don't know what to do about it. Les Gura, MA, LCMHC, NCC, with Banyan Tree Counseling will show us how to recognize anxiety and learn how to apply self-care methods to help reduce its impact.

And it’s here that we find Chef Warren’s Bistro and get to hear from the restaurant’s name’s sake and Executive Chef Warren Lewis as he demonstrates how to create one of his favorite dishes- Prosciutto Wrapped Cod with Olives & Tomatoes. As Chef Warren takes us through the preparation of this signature dish, it is refreshing to hear that the dish can be easily modified to reflect our own taste preferences without affecting the outcome of the dish!

From creating beautiful pottery pieces to various fiber arts, basket-making, weaving, sewing, and more, there truly is a class to fit everyone’s interest! And know that there are classes to meet everyone’s skill levels- from beginner to advanced with the bonus of meeting new people who share your interests!
