With affordability to continue to be the biggest factor when looking into the Toronto real estate market, more and more people are looking to rent over buying. What are the impacts to this? Well with Toronto vacancy rate at 1.1% there is no shortage of demand. But definitely a shortage of inventory.

With low inventory, demand has pushed 1 bedroom rentals up 1.8% from last month to an average of $$2,260/month 2 Bedroom units are up 0.7% from last month to $2,850/month.

Michael discuses some of the issues many with face in 2019. How to make sure you are prepared to tackle this very competitive market. With many hoping for the Toronto real estate housing market will crash. Or at least correct to allow many people to buy in.
