In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, we'll be playing the Thief skull with a Sin focused Crit Item strategy! Thief is a character who is pretty much the bog standard speed skull archetype. He has a fast and powerful basic attack, his skills focus on agility, mobility, and DPS, and he also has the unique dash that not a lot of characters get that makes it go further than most other comparable characters. Thief is a skull a lot of people enjoy playing, including myself, because he also has a skill that allows him to gain more gold, which can come quite in handy. One complaint I often see about Thief is that his skills are magic focused, but his basic attack is physical, which for the record isn't a big deal, but it is understandable why people don't like it, and it's confusing why he's like this. So...why not bring along Sin to change that? Sin is an inscription only gotten from the Druid NPC throughout act 3 that makes all damage you deal default to the higher between your physical vs. your magic. This allows Thief to deal magic damage with his basic, but more importantly allows me to bring along powerful physical damage items that I find while focusing exclusively on scaling my magic damage%. Which, in this run in particular, allows me to bring along a Gunpowder Sword! The run will focus on Crit Items, the strongest run archetype in the entire game. Joined by Gambler, can these two powerful Crit Item abusers abuse it enough to create another insanely powerful run?
