If you've had Lymph Nodes removed following treatment for Breast Cancer, then you are at risk of Lymphoedema. Lymphoedema is a progressive disease process that presents as chronic swelling of the upper limb or breast. It doesn't matter if you have only had one Lymph Node removed (Sentinel Node Biopsy), you're still at risk. However, research has shown that the more nodes removed you have removed, the higher the risk.
