If you just transferred your SIM card from iPhone to android device then you might see that you are not able to receive messages from iPhone but still you can receive from other non apple devices. This happens if you enabled iMessage feature for your SIM card but before transferring the SIM card to the android device you forgot to turn off the iMessage feature. So, the apple device will by default try to send the message as iMessage So, in this case you have two options.

If you have an iPhone still with you then insert the SIM card in your iPhone then:

Tap on “Settings”.
Scroll down and select “messages”.
Turn off “iMessage” feature.


In case if you don’t have an iPhone then you can also deregister your number from iMessage feature using a website.

Open the site selfsolve.apple.com/dergister-imessage
Select the country and then type your phone number.
You will receive a confirmation code in your phone number.
Enter the code here and then select “submit”.
Now your number will be deregistered from iMessage and then you can get the message normally.
