911SC Track Car Build - Episode 4: Engine Case Assembly

Описание к видео 911SC Track Car Build - Episode 4: Engine Case Assembly

This episode covers the build-up of the short block and the assembly of the two halves of the engine case. I show how to seal the case, prep the bearings with assembly lube, install the crankshaft and the intermediate shaft that drives the oil pump and cams, and assemble both halves while keeping the con rods in the right position. I also cover testing the function of the thermostat and how to prevent the crank shaft from turning while you tighten the flywheel bolts.
