🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain how to measure the resistance of a component, such as a lamp, by first setting up a simple circuit with an ammeter and a voltmeter. The ammeter is connected in series to measure the current flowing through the component, while the voltmeter is connected in parallel to measure the potential difference across it. By using the formula for resistance (R = V/I), where V is the potential difference and I is the current, multiple readings can be taken with a variable resistor to observe how resistance changes with current, and the results can be plotted on an IV graph to visualize the relationship between current and potential difference.
