Do we value the love of the Lord to us?

Do we see the love of the Lord in the day to day, and in the hardship, and in the difficulty, and in the pain, as He is trying to get to this orphan thing deep within us, that is not teachable, and hasn't learned to submit? And the Lord is simply trying to expose it, as this is a problem.
