Chef Ruchi Bharani teaches how to make Sabudana Khichdi. Its a simple easy to make homemade breakfast snack recipe. Learn how to cook this quick recipe at your home when you are fasting.

Ingredients:
1 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
6 - 7 Curry Leaves
4 Roughly chopped Green Chillies
2 - 3 tsp sugar
Lemon Juice
Coriander Leaves
3/4 cup coarsely ground Roasted Peanuts
2 boiled and chopped Potatoes
1 cup Tapioca Sago (Sabudana)

Method:
Wash the sabudana thoroughly and soak them in water in a flat plate for 6 - 7 hrs
After it has soaked well, add sugar,salt, coriander leaves, coarsely ground roasted peanuts, lemon juice to the bowl containing soaked sabudana.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, saute it and add boiled and chopped potatoes and fry it for a minute
Turn off the flame and add the sabudana mixture
Quickly mix all the ingredients. cover the pan with a lid and cook it in low flame for not more than 2 mins.
The sabudana khichdi is ready to be served hot.
