How to Change Transmission Fluid In A 2011 Chevy Malibu with A Sealed Trans

With todays cost rising, it's getting more expensive to do car maint. In this video, I'm showing you how to easily change your trans fluid in a 2011 Chevy Malibu with a sealed trans and 4 cyl. There is no dipstick to check fluid. It took a total of 5.3 qts of ATF6 fluid and about 30 min to change from start to finish. You can use 12 qts and run it through and drain to flush if you'd like, but anything is better then nothing! Cost to do a drain and fill, if you have a funnel, drain pan and jacks is under $30. If you do a flush, plan on about 17 qts and approx. $75. These prices are for the diy, not at a local shop. Being a 4 cyl, there was no replaceable filter on this transmission(I believe the 6 cyl does have one). I have not torn one of these trans apart yet to see if there is a filter inside.
