Here’s what we’re seeing right now:
✅ Faster Processing Times: Although we initially predicted that processing would slow down, the Trump administration’s push to increase deportation orders has actually sped up marriage-based adjustment of status cases — great news for many of our applicants.
✅ Denied Cases = NTA: If your green card application is denied, USCIS will now issue a Notice to Appear (NTA), placing you directly into removal proceedings. This makes it more important than ever to ensure your application is strong before you file.
✅ The 90-Day Rule: If you entered on a non-immigrant visa (such as a visitor visa or student visa), and you take steps that suggest immigrant intent — like getting married or filing for adjustment of status — within the first 90 days of your entry, it can create serious problems for your case.
