With the release of the version of Raspberry PI OS based upon Debian Bookworm, the mechanism that you use to configure a static IP address for your PI has changed...again!

There are some gotchas with this so I figured it'd be useful to show you some of the pitfalls along with the methods I use to give my PIs static IP addresses where required.
