As per guidelines of foreign exchange policy of Bangladesh, every individual should correctly endorse in passport the amount of dollar s/he is taking out of the country. This is done to ensure the allowable travel quota of each individual is properly maintained.

Taking out dollars more that endorsed is a legal crime and things may get dirty in worst case.
