John Fogerty Guitar Lesson - How To Play Old Man Down The Road And Centerfield

In this video I demonstrate how to play two classic John Fogerty songs, Old Man Down The Road and Centerfield. These tunes were from his 1985 double platinum album Centerfield. They showcase the raw and gritty tones we have grown to love from John Fogerty harkening back to the days of Creedence Clearwater Revival. Fogerty crafted some masterful tones, licks and lyrics in these songs that are timeless. While John Fogerty was never known as a guitar technician, his parts were very song appropriate, catchy and very often tricky to pull off correctly.
