2016 Toyota Rav4 Android Auto/Apple Carplay Upgrade Install (Carputech/AutoABC)

Installing Android Auto and Apple Carplay upgrade on a 2016 Toyota Rav4 while keeping the original head unit (So we can use SiriusXM).

The unit allows you to connect Android and Apple phones and use the original touch screen as a control for both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Because the original head unit is used, you retain full use of the original functionality of the car (with a few quirky complications such as XM radio over the top of Android Auto calls).

This will work with most 2014-2019 Toyota Rav4 models. I found that buying direct from Carputech, they had someone who confirmed the fit by requesting photos of your dashboard before completing your order.
